APT Continues to Invest in New Best Practices

The Medical Aesthetics industry is one that is rapidly growing and changing.  APT staff regularly attends seminars and training sessions to ensure that we are offering our patients the very best treatments and services. 

In November, Tia, Melisa and Sherri attended the Sciton User Summit in Dallas, TX – the world’s largest aesthetic user’s summit, which brought together over 400 laser experts and marketing professionals.  We had the opportunity to learn about cutting-edge clinical applications, advanced laser treatment techniques, and exciting trends in the industry. The Summit also featured an in-depth look at Halo™ and Forever Young BBL™.

Also in November, nurse injectors Patricia and Sara, and our medical director Dr. Cathy Longley were invited to attend a seminar by renowned plastic surgeon Mauricio de Maio.  Sponsored by Allergan, the seminar highlighted advanced injection techniques using Juvederm® dermal fillers.

We were also honoured to be invited to “An Evening of Beauty”, a special VIP event sponsored by our friends at Merz Pharma at the Berkeley Field House in Toronto.  This event featured the latest trends in beauty with keynote speaker, Jennifer Goldstein, Executive Beauty and Health Editor of Marie Claire Magazine.  Tia, Mel and Sara had a great time walking the red carpet!
