How to Prepare for Your Halo™ Treatment

During your initial consultation at our Oakville clinic, your clinician will provide personalized pre-treatment guidelines. This typically includes pausing certain active skincare ingredients and avoiding sun exposure and tanning beds for approximately two weeks before your appointment. How Halo™ Works

A topical numbing cream is applied to the treatment area and left for approximately 40 minutes before the procedure begins. Your clinician will then use a handheld Sciton device across the treatment area for approximately 30 minutes, or until the system confirms the treatment is complete. Mild discomfort and warmth during the procedure are normal. Cooling air is applied afterward for 40 minutes to soothe the skin, and most patients feel warm for an additional 15 to 30 minutes post-treatment.

By day two, most patients can apply mineral makeup and resume normal activities. Light peeling typically begins around day three to four, revealing refreshed skin underneath.
