Latisse®

When you buy Latisse®, you’ll notice that it comes packed with sterile applicators. Use it to apply the product every night on your upper eyelids or the base of the lashes. Make sure that you have a freshly cleansed face and not wearing any makeup or contact lenses when applying to avoid irritation. One drop of the liquid solution is enough.

It typically takes around 15 minutes for your lashes to absorb Latisse® and for the product to completely dry.

There is still no accurate explanation as to why and how Latisse® exactly works. However, it is believed that bimatoprost, its active ingredient, stimulates anagen or the active growth phase.

You can see your lashes starting to grow thicker, longer, and darker within a couple of months of religious application of Latisse®. However, the maximum results become more noticeable after three to four months. Results may also vary depending on each person.

Skin hyperpigmentation or darkening of the eyelids is a common side effect of Latisse®. It is only temporary and will fade away in a few weeks or a month’s time after you stop using the product. Always blot or wipe excess serum that can drip from the lash line.
