Regulated Healthcare Professionals

All injectable treatments at APT Medical Aesthetics are performed exclusively by Registered Nurses (RNs) and Nurse Practitioners (NPs) with advanced aesthetic training. We do not use unregulated practitioners.

Advanced & Ongoing Training

Our clinicians participate in ongoing advanced training in facial anatomy, complication management, and emerging techniques. APT is also home to APT Injection Training — where we train other medical professionals across Canada.

Health Canada Approved Products Only

We use only Health Canada approved neuromodulators and dermal fillers from established manufacturers including Allergan, Galderma, and Merz. We never use unregulated or grey-market products.

Physician Medical Director

APT Medical Aesthetics operates under physician oversight. Our Medical Director provides clinical guidance, reviews protocols, and ensures our standards of care meet or exceed regulatory requirements in Ontario.

Sterile Single-Use Equipment

All needles, cannulas, and injectable products are single-use only and disposed of safely after each patient. We follow IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) standards as required in Ontario.

Our Oakville clinic maintains a clean, welcoming, and professionally maintained environment. Treatment rooms are cleaned and disinfected between every patient according to Ontario public health guidelines.

Contraindication Screening

Every patient completes a thorough health intake before any treatment begins. We screen for contraindications, medications, allergies, pregnancy, and other factors that may affect safety or outcomes.

Informed Consent

We obtain written informed consent before every procedure. We discuss risks, realistic expectations, and alternatives openly — because we believe patients deserve complete information before making any decision.

Are your injectors qualified?

Yes. All injectors are Registered Nurses or Nurse Practitioners with advanced aesthetic training and ongoing education. We operate under physician medical direction as required in Ontario.

What happens if I have a complication?

We maintain hyaluronidase on-site for immediate filler dissolution and follow written emergency protocols for all adverse events. Our team is trained in complication recognition and management — and we are available to support you after every treatment.

Do you use approved products?

Yes. We use only Health Canada approved products from Allergan, Galderma, and Merz — the same brands used in hospital and surgical settings. We never use unregulated or compounded products.

Are your recommendations influenced by brand partnerships?

No. We choose products based on clinical evidence, patient suitability, and safety profile — not promotional incentives. We will always tell you what you need, and what you don’t.

Botox Cosmetic® (botulinum toxin) has a 30+ year safety record when used as directed. At APT, we use conservative dosing and evidence-based protocols to ensure natural-looking, safe outcomes at every appointment.
