Patricia Pezzano, BSN, RN

Owner and Injector

With almost 20 years of experience in the aesthetic field, Patricia has acquired extensive knowledge in all aspects of aesthetic treatments. From the initial consultation, facial assessment, and the creation of a personalized treatment plan, down to the actual injections themselves. She continually upgrades her knowledge, both through clinical reading and reflection to training with the top injectors in the field. She has enjoyed mentorships with Dr. Swift, Dr. Harris from the UK as well as cadaver labs led by Dr. De Lorenzi and anatomist Dr. Sebastian Cotofana. Not to mention the additional training with other incredible injectors. Her drive is to deliver safe, effective, proven treatments that enhance the wellbeing, self-confidence, and outlook of her patients. Her ability to connect with people, understand their motivations and provide personalized care results in a resolute following and extensive referrals from friends and family – the highest compliment.

Patricia continues her learning through attendance at both international conferences and advanced training sessions. She leads both APT Medical Aesthetics, a full-service medical spa encompassing injectables, laser, skin tightening, peel, skincare, and HydraFacial as well as APT Injection Training. The APT Injection Training team has trained thousands of injectors over the decades. APT provides the trainees with intensive, hands-on personalized training combined with ongoing support to ensure their success in the field.

Patricia is dual-licensed as both an RPN and RN and holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Nutrition and Nutraceutical Sciences. Continuous learning encompasses who she is, and she is delighted to utilize her knowledge to the benefit of her patients.

Cathy Longley, MD, FCFP-EM

Medical Director

Dr. Cathy Longley has been practicing Emergency Medicine since 1999 after obtaining her medical degree at the University of Western Ontario. As Medical Director at APT, Dr. Longley consults with patients regarding their eligibility for aesthetic procedures. She takes the time to educate her clients, discussing possible risks and is readily available to address all their questions and concerns.

Jessica Connolly

Office Manager

Jessica comes to APT with a wealth of experience in Operations Management. Having worked in various industries, her skillset and drive to succeed are a huge asset to APT. With a huge emphasis on customer service, Jessica’s ambitious nature is a great fit for the values of APT Medical Aesthetics.

Jacqueline Lantz

Front Desk Coordinator

With 4 years in the Medical Aesthetics field and a 10 year background in administration and customer service, we couldn’t be happier to have Jacqueline as part of the APT team. She loves what she does, and her goal is to keep our patients smiling as well as looking and feeling beautiful.

Sara Eggleton

Training Coordinator

Sara is the main point of contact for clients at the clinic. Her focus is not just to efficiently book the best appointment but more importantly, she makes sure that clients feel welcomed, comfortable and like family. Her calm demeanour and endless knowledge relaxes them and guides them effortlessly through the clinic process to their desired results!

Carol Wilcox, MD

Medical Director

Dr. Wilcox graduated with a Medical Doctorate from the University of Toronto in 1998. Prior to that she completed an Honor’s Bachelor of Science degree, and a Master’s of Science degree, both at the University of Toronto. She has a background in clinical research, primary preventative care, and healthy-sexuality care. Her more current interests are in age-management medicine.

Dr Anne-Marie Humniski, BSc,MD,CCFP-EM,FCFP

Staff ER Physician, The Credit Valley Hospital

Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine, The University of Toronto

Dr Humniski completed medical school at the University of Toronto in 1996. She then went on to complete a residency in Family Medicine and a fellowship in Emergency Medicine at Western University. Dr Humniski has over 20 years experience in Emergency Medicine and she continues to work as a staff physician at a busy GTA hospital.(Trillium Health Partners). Dr Humniski also holds an academic appointment at the University of Toronto as Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine. In her role as Medical Director at APT, Dr Humniski meets with clients to determine their suitability for various aesthetic procedures, while simultaneously ensuring that clients have a firm understanding of their proposed treatment plan. She is readily available to direct management of unexpected events and provide direction regarding safe aesthetic injection techniques. Dr Humniski has spent countless hours attending educational events in order to advance her aesthetic injections skills. She has developed a passion for combining the science of medicine with the art of injecting to enhance every patient’s unique features, ultimately offering beautiful natural looking results.

Has been injecting since 2015. Actively injects patients.

As a seasoned registered nurse and dedicated firefighter, Lexi brings a unique blend of compassion, precision, and resilience to her role as a nurse injector at APT Medical Aesthetics. With a background in emergency response and a commitment to excellence, she approaches each aesthetic procedure with unwavering attention to detail and a deep understanding of patient care. Outside the clinic, Lexi thrives on the challenges of CrossFit training, embodying the same determination and discipline that she brings to her professional endeavors. Committed to enhancing the natural beauty and confidence of her patients, Lexi looks forward to making a positive impact in the lives of others every day.
