Absolutely! BBL™ Broadband Light is highly effective at treating facial veins and capillaries. Once your veins have been treated you will notice that your overall skin tone is more even and radiant. Unfortunately there are no topical creams or lotions that can get rid of facial veins.

This is most likely a cherry hemangioma. The good news is that cherry hemangiomas respond extremely well to BBL™ treatment!

The light energy from BBL™ is absorbed by the haemoglobin (blood pigment) in the vein, causing it to coagulate, after which it is gradually resorbed by the body. As individual vessels are treated, they may disappear, darken, lighten, or appear unchanged, but eventually fade away over time.

Each treatment takes only a few minutes. Your skin will be thoroughly cleaned, and the vessels will be assessed by your technician. With each pulse of light, you may feel a slight snap against the skin. Immediately after the treatment, redness and mild skin swelling are expected, and you will feel a warm or tingling sensation. These effects are temporary, and cool compresses are helpful. In rare occasions, a small bruise may develop where the vessel was treated. Stubborn veins may require an additional treatment in 4-6 weeks.
