What To Expect During the Procedure

At APT Medical Aesthetics, patients begin their laser skin resurfacing procedure by consulting with our licensed healthcare professionals who are expertly trained in performing Clear + Brilliant® treatments. 

On the day of your Clear + Brilliant® session, our skincare specialist will apply a topical numbing facial cream to ensure that you are comfortable during the entire procedure. 

Next, a Clear + Brilliant® handpiece will be used to glide over the desired treatment area. This will be done repeatedly throughout the 15 to 30-minute session. Using a patented technology called “Optical Tracking™ System,” this handpiece has the ability to ensure proper contact and concentration on the desired treatment areas of your skin.

As the last step in the Clear + Brilliant® procedure, a topical antioxidant-rich serum or facial mask is usually applied to soothe the skin. 

Because a complete session only lasts around 15 to 30 minutes and often has little to no downtime, it’s the perfect solution for patients with busy lifestyles looking to effectively refresh their skin in the quickest way possible. 

What Results Can I Expect?

It is completely normal for patients to experience a little redness following a Clear + Brilliant® session. This will subside within two hours.

After a Clear + Brilliant® treatment, most patients report that their skin feels much softer and has a more youthful and radiant glow. Generally, clearer, brighter, and smoother skin becomes visible after just one session. These positive results continue to progress within the next 14 days. 

While most patients see visible results after just one session, the number of treatments required depends on your unique skincare concerns and goals.
