To Salt or not to Salt!
Too much salt in our diet has been blamed for hypertension, dehydration and water retention. While these risks are very real, it’s important to recognize that not all salt is the same.
Simple table salt that we find in processed foods is composed primarily of sodium chloride. Sea salts also contain sodium chloride, however they also contain an abundance of minerals essential for health.
If you feel you are drinking enough water daily but still experience a dry mouth, add a pinch of mineral salt and lemon to your water. This small change will assist in cleansing your system of impurities as well as helps with digestion and elimination.
